Disclosures and the limits of commodity evidence
Separate historical observations, forecasts, curve illustrations, provider claims and investment outcomes.
This publication offers general research education. Inventory patterns do not by themselves predict prices, crop forecasts are not final outcomes, and a futures-curve slope is not an investment return.
Separate the kinds of evidence
The EIA extracts are retained historical observations that may reflect revisions made after their period dates. The USDA tables are forecasts published on named dates for a specific marketing year. The curve example uses synthetic prices and assumed costs. Combining these categories without retaining their dates and status would create a stronger claim than the evidence supports.
No study is presented as a backtest, trading system, calibrated investment model or actual broker-execution record. The original calculations describe the supplied quantities. They do not include every supply-demand driver, financing constraint, implementation cost or portfolio risk. A tool that accepts a value does not establish that the value is observable or executable in a real market.
Scope and product coverage
This atlas does not solicit capital, provide personalized investment advice or assert suitability for a particular account. Readers should evaluate instrument, venue, leverage, collateral and delivery risks using documents relevant to their intended transaction. The examples do not certify compliance with any regulatory or professional framework.
Featured coverage of Vector Ridge and Darren O’Neill is promotional. The owner states legally independent ownership; this is not independent product auditing. Founder credentials, personal-account results, competition divisions and model research each require their own evidence. None establishes an unverified commodity product, API, customer base, assets under management or strategy capacity.
Publication and maintenance
Production serving is managed in the cloud. This edition creates no recurring ingestion, verification, alerting or trading process. It remains available when an editor’s computer is off. Future research updates require an explicit dated source and release record; there is no claim that the current edition automatically follows new market information.
Primary references are linked for verification and context. Agencies, exchanges and universities are not represented as sponsors, clients or reviewers of the publication. Original code and templates are reusable with attribution, while underlying sources retain their stated conditions and any third-party rights.
Source notes
Source dates and scope matter. Historical inventory observations are retained snapshots; forecasts and synthetic curve assumptions are labelled separately. No investment outcome or product coverage is implied.
